About the Project
Our Clients wanted help with a quick restyling of their family home which had been on the market for a couple of years, for some viewings at short notice.
They needed to keep the big furniture pieces. In one morning we helped them update to a more streamlined look that would appeal to the target market of young families.
We took down curtains to let in light, rearranged furniture, depersonalized, removing pieces or adding as required and dressed it with our accessories. Result? A Sale that achieved the asking price!
What did we do?
We took down curtains to let in light. There were already some roman blinds in place which were enough on their own. Furniture needed to be rearranged to improve the flow and lead the potential buyers seamlessly from room to room. Kitchen surfaces were cleared and equipment stored in cupboards. We needed to depersonalize.
Family photographs had been removed but there were still some personal artworks that needed to be replaced with more neutral, abstract pieces. Dressing the rooms with our accessories created layers of relaxed living. Never underestimate the visual effect of soft furnishings. Cushions and throws in contrasting textures, natural fibre rugs, and statement vases all work.
Sale achieved at the asking price!
Before. And, After!
